What have you done lately?

Harley Sportster Cafe racer

So about a year or so ago, I bought a tidy old Evo Sportster, it was an 1100 cc model, they only made that engine for a couple of years...
It qualified for Red Plate rego and Bones did the scrutineering, and Shadow stamped my docs and I was ready to go! anyway, I wanted a more 1960\'s or 1970\'s look about it and I bought a few bits in from the States, and Wombat did some magic with a spray gun and I am fairly happy with the result. I have attached a before and after set of photos. Some of the changes are under the surface, the old girl handled like a bugger, little skinny front forks and a set of rear shockers that were worn out. So I had the Front end updated with a set of Gold Valve dampeners, and put a traditional black set of Icons on the rear and this had made a big improvement.
